Chemical drying using a rotary rack oven is the process of removing water using evaporation from various types of solutions and mixtures. Various drying methods include hot air drying, contact drying, infrared drying, freeze-drying, etc. Chemical drying makes the chemicals ready by removing water.

Chemical drying is used to dry various types of chemicals using rotary rack ovens. Hindchef has installed rotary rack ovens at various chemical manufacturing plants. Chemical drying rotary rack ovens are made of mild steel. These have same control panel as baking rotary rack oven.

These rotary rack ovens have large body of ovens and trays. At Thakkar chemical plant, they use 198 tray rotary rack oven for drying weedicide. Each tray can hold up to 2kg chemical and dry at 80 degree Celsius temperature. The color of the chemical remain same when you dry using rotary rack oven at fixed temp.

Example of chemical where it is useful

Chemical drying rotary rack oven can dry other things apart from drying insecticide, pesticide, and weedicide. These ovens can dry Indian gooseberry (Amla), cashew nuts, and chemicals. Sometimes, people also use it for drying grain. It is a multiple items drying machine.
