1. Waffle Cone

Waffle is in great demand nowadays. Its sweet taste with softness inside and crunchy outside fascinate everyone. When ice-cream is served with crunchy waffle its overall taste increases. Here is the quick and easy recipe to make its base, which can be served alone or with ice cream. It looks perfect due to its conical shape. It is a mixture of flour, salt, sugar and milk. All its ingredients are easily available in Supermarket or stores.

Ingredients:-

  • 2 ½ cup All- Purpose Flour
  • Salt 2 pinches.
  • Sugar or its substitute 4 tsp.
  • Oil 1 Tsp.
  • Vanilla essence 2-3 drops.
  • Water or milk.

Recipe:

  1. Mix flour, salt, sugar and vanilla essence in a bowl and stir them to make a thick batter.
  2. Left the batter for 30 minutes.
  3. Pre heat your waffle cone machine by adjusting the temperature 180 º – 200ºC.
  4. Brush the waffle machine with a little melted butter or oil.
  5. Pour the batter and close the lid and bake it until it is golden brown in color.
  6. Remove carefully the prepared cone from machine.
  7. Now, wrap it around the cone shape roller carefully.
  8. Let it cool for few seconds to take its shape.
  9. Repeat the remaining batter and make all the cones.

Tips:-
You can use any ice cream to scoop on it.

2. Belgian Waffle Base (Eggless)

Belgian Waffle is lovable by all. Its sweet taste with softness inside and crunchy outside fascinate everyone. When icecream is serve with crunchy waffle its overall taste increases. Today, we will explain the recipe to make its base, which can be served alone or with ice cream. It looks perfect due to its shape. It is a mixture of flour, salt, sugar and milk. All its ingredients are easily available in Supermarket or stores.

Ingredients:-

  • 2.5 cup All- Purpose flour
  • Baking Powder 2 spoons
  • Baking soda ¼ spoon
  • Sugar or its substitute 2 tsp.
  • Oil 1 spoon
  • Butter ½ spoons
  • Salt ½ spoons
  • Corn flour 1.5 spoons
  • Vanilla essence 2-3 drops
  • Water

Recipe:

  1. Mix flour, salt, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and corn flour in a bowl.
  2. Add water, butter and vanilla essence to it and stir them to make a thick batter.
  3. Left the better for 30 minutes.
  4. Preheat your Belgian Waffle machine by adjusting the temperature 180º – 200ºC.
  5. Brush the waffle machine with a little oil.
  6. Pour some Batter in and close the lid to bake and brown.
  7. When it is done (about 3-4 minutes) get it out of machine.
  8. Let it cool for seconds.
  9. Serve it with ice cream.

Tips:-
You can use many flavors i.e. Strawberry, chocolate, pineapple etc ice cream to make it perfect. Keep the waffles in the airtight zip lock bags to use it next day.
Overmixing of batter results in hard waffle from inside.
Machine must be hot before adding batter into it.
